"I have to start by saying our time with Alex was our favorite part of our two days in Venice. She showed us the world of local Venice cuisine and embraced our adventurous food pallates. From showing us the best "Trammezino" and explaining how the Euopean tea culture impacted the local Italian treat to delicious fried anchovies in cheese, to the BEST hot chocolate cake we've ever tried. "We began with a visit to Mazzarbo, followed by Burano and Murano. Loris gave us so much local history of Venice and the surrounding lagoons. After learning about the fascinating lace-making history of Burano, we had a leisurely lunch with delicious food, wine, and dessert before moving on to Murano where we were treated to a front-row view of one of the island's highly esteemed glassblowers crafting a custom order of drinking glasses. The private tour with Loris was the highlight of our trip to Venice and we highly recommend him!"
