"We met Elvina at exactly the time scheduled. She was very welcoming and gave us a brief overview of what to expect and off we went! From the touristy areas and red light district all the way to the zoo and all the way to the end of our tour which we whole heartedly agreed to, to the windmill! She is so knowledgeable, so friendly, and had details of Amsterdam and its history that we never would have experienced otherwise. We booked this tour for our first day in Amsterdam and strongly recommend you do the same! We prefer to experience how locals enjoy their home rather than just tourist areas. "We enjoyed a day with Tommie as our guide in Amsterdam. He was personable and thoughtful and simply full of many aspects of the city. Architectural insights, city history, commentary on events, holiday traditions, good restaurants, and an amazing list of hidden gems, ie special insights that he has observed over the years. He is fluent in 6-7 languages and is a very competent piano player. He made it clear to us up front that he was a high functioning person with asbergers. We felt that disability was never a problem at all. His encyclopedic understanding of Amsterdam was a big plus. His tour was outstanding."
