"My family (ages 7 to 65 years old) had a wonderful time visiting Sintra and the Belém quarter with Tiago! He was a very knowledgeable tour guide and made sure all parties were having a good time. Tiago is very personable and easy to get along with. I highly recommend taking a small guided tour to Sintra as the area is congested and I was happy to be in a small vehicle versus a large tour bus. We visited in the Spring and if you go during this time, I recommend bringing a coat to Sintra due to the winds once up near the Palace. Even with colder weather on the day of the tour we had a great day overall. "
"We had such a wonderful time on this food tour in Lisbon! We met our guide, Diogo, at a stunning overlook of the city—a perfect place to begin. Diogo was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about Lisbon's history and culinary traditions. Our first stop was a cozy restaurant where we sampled octopus salad, clams, and a fritter with fascinating historical roots (originally created by Jewish communities to disguise chicken as pork). We also had fresh sardines and appreciated Diogo’s excellent guidance on how to eat them like a local.
From there, we made a brief stop by the Pharmacy Museum for another great view before continuing to Artis Wine Bar for more small plates and a lovely dessert. Along the way, Diogo pointed out historical landmarks like an old bookstore and a classic coffee shop. We ended the evening in a lively plaza with a tasting of ginjinha, the traditional cherry liqueur. It was the perfect mix of delicious food, culture, and fun—highly recommend!"
"Angelo is as passionate about the history of Portugal as he is about its food. He has cultivated relationships with the best local chefs and explains much about the architecture and the culture of Lisbon along the way. Come hungry!"

Great tour with fantastic local knowledge
"We thoroughly enjoyed our Lisbon tour with Sylvain. He had a great knowledge of the history of Lisbon and took us a nice mix of different places to dry local cuisine and drinks. He also took the time to recommend other places to visit on our stay, which we did and enjoyed every one of them. I recommend doing one of these private tours to really get to understand the local areas and find hidden gems you might otherwise miss when visiting the city for the first time. Thanks again Sylvain. "
"Angelo is awesome. He has vast knowledge of the area. We went to some local spots and he texted us tons of great places to see while we were in the city for 3 days. He did all of this while we endured some fairly heavy rain. Keeping everything fun and exciting and adapting when weather conditions were poor. He’s a great guide. "
"My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a Lisbon Food Tour with Ana Paula and had a great time and great conversation. She was able to customize our visits to exclude a few things we already tried and also give us a taste of better versions of some things we had tried earlier in the week as well. We had some wonderful hams and cheeses, pastries, amazing octopus salad, even more bachalau and, my favorite, the bifana. She also sent us a list of restaurants to try and was helpful throughout our whole trip. Book a tour with Ana Paula and enjoy a taste of Lisbon!"
"Sonia gave a wonderful tour around Lisbon's old city center, giving us the history of all the places we visited. We'll definitely connect with Sonia again next time we're in Lisbon!"
"Amanda was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and the food! She was very personable and made the whole experience fantastic! We were lucky to have her as our tour guide."
"A great tour, one of the best ways to experience Lisbon is through food, then add in Sonia's history knowledge and her experience being a local and you have a great tour.
We visited local hangouts whilst wandering the streets.
The tour starts with a great view out over the city and that is the highest point of the whole tour, making walking a lot easier than some tours which have significant amounts of stairs.
Due to a number parades that were on in Lisbon on the day of the tour part of our group were caught in traffic and were not able to get to the starting point. Sonia gave them directions on where they should be able to get to on foot, which was a bit of challenge, hence the patient legend.
I would recommend this tour, and especially Sonia, you definitely need to taste the Pasteis de nata from the place you stop at, they are definitely better than the usual ones in Lisbon."
"Absolutely amazing experience with Sonia. It was like taking a tour with a friend. She took us to traditional places to eat and drink and showed us a lot of the city that we would not have seen without her.
Don’t hesitate to book with her. We have had the best few first hours in Lisbon with Sonia
